Privacy policy

playlogd is a personal video game diary. We collect only what's needed to run the service.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address, used for sign-in only. We never sell or share it.
• Profile data — username, display name, bio, avatar, and the games you log, rate, and review. This is the core of the service.
• Steam library data — if you use Steam import, we fetch your public Steam library (game IDs and last-played dates) from the Steam Web API on your request. We store your Steam ID and the matched game entries in our database, hosted on Supabase (US-based). We do not store your Steam username, friends list, or any other Steam profile data.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
• We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Supabase for database/auth, Vercel for hosting).

Cookies

We use a single session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@playlogd.gg. We'll process it within 30 days.

Some links to game stores on playlogd are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. This never influences how we display prices — we always show the lowest price first.

DMCA / copyright

playlogd respects intellectual property rights. Game cover art is displayed for editorial identification purposes. User-submitted content (reviews, ratings) is the responsibility of the submitting user.

If you believe content on playlogd infringes your copyright, please send a notice to:

Your notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material and its location on our site, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief, and your signature. We will respond promptly to valid notices.

Terms of use

playlogd is provided as-is. By using the service you agree not to post content that infringes others' rights, harasses other users, or violates applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

The service is operated from the United States. These terms are governed by US law.
